| How excited (or not) I am to see this movie... |

| This years Oscars' are hotting up with the prospect of it being a momentous occasion. Tim Burton isn't in the spotlight as much as we though he would be but many other directors are still hoping for Oscar glory. Of course the big emphasis will be on The Return of the King. Will it be the first to break the Academy's anti-fantasy barrier and see it that $1 billioin worldwide convinces them to eternally glorify it's fantasticalness with the title of best film? And will all the people who have put money on it set out on their morning walks with considerably lighter pockets or roll around joyously in their winnings? All will be revealed on sunday night, 12:50 am here in Britain! Sheesh! It may be momentous and all but I'm not staying up that late on a weekday night! If I did it would most probably result in my falling asleep on the bus the following day (never a good idea to fall asleep on buses you know--the kids try and stick chewing gum in my ear.) OK, I better shut up now so see ya! |
