Does anyone know what the projected length of time is for the Academy Award Show on Sunday? I had read somewhere that they were hoping to keep it down to 3 hours, and that people who ran over their allowed acceptance speech time would be fined. Is this true?
They've been pretty successful at keeping it to 3 hours. As for ways to keep people within the time limits, I doubt they could fine anyone. There's always the old 'go to commercial' cutaway that's just as effective.
