This really isn't a movie that appeals to the crowd on CD any more, but if you catch this, post your review here.

I'm waiting for some friends who got advance screening tickets to come back, and see what their faces tell me. But it doesn't matter, I'll go see it anyway.

Okay, just got back from seeing this with the kids and I loved it. I absolutely loved it. I have a new catchphrase now. "Back off or I'm gonna drop some Abe Lincoln on your ass!".
That isn't a quote in the movie, but it is what I thought as I watched Abe and his friends kick some Al Colone/Napolean/Egyptian Pharoh ass. It was much funnier than the first and Amy Adams was great as Amelia Arheart. She reminded me of Katherine Heppubrn in Bringing up Baby when she was her most zany/wacky/sexy.
Anyway, Hank Azaria (Of the Simpsons and Mystery Men) steels every scene he is in. I recommend this movie.

4 1/2 stars out of 5.

I just got back from seeing it. I thought it was good as the first one. I liked the little love story it had.

Saw it today, and everyone enjoyed it. It's various levels of humor certainly appealed to a wide range of people at the theater. While sometimes the comic timing was a miss, it had plenty of cover your face 'oh no' moments.

It also made me want to go out and buy a flashlight...some really good humor built around that.

There were some cute moments with Ben Stiller and always appealing Amy Adams, and some of the comic face-offs with Hank Azaria (in a psuedo-Karloff mode) that were quite good. The other supporting cast were also strong.

4 stars of 5.

Oh, and the cameo by Oscar the Grouch was pretty funny.

This was just silly stuff, and very funny. I liked how the different ages of the audience laughed at different things.

Best moments: Monkeys, Squirrel Bronco-Riding, and the comic duelling of Ben Stiller/Hank Azaria.
