The folks at "Cinema Blend" are telling us that the premiere for the Will Smith starring boozy, pissed-off superhero actioner HANCOCK has been canceled because they'll be doing last minute re-shoots to fix what's apparently (and what early test screening reports have indicated) a sub-par flick. Of course, I AM LEGEND received the same early negative buzz and underwent the same last minute re-shoots and it still made a ridiculous amount of money at the box office. Who knows, though, maybe this'll be the first movie that won't open big for Big Willie. Although that's extremely difficult to imagine. We'll find out on July 2nd. Thanks to Beech for the heads up!
