May 27, 2009 — Australia's Gold Coast near Queensland will likely be the site of much of the filming of the highly anticipated third film of the Narnia series, set for release in December 2010. The budget for the film is lower than the two previous movies, at around $140-million dollars (US), but it will be one of the biggest films produced in the Queensland area, and filming is slated to begin in late 2009.
