In a recent interview with FilmForce Walter F. Parkes and Laurie MacDonald say they do have an idea for The Ring 3; "We're talking about [it]. We actually had kind of a cool approach to it. That's kind of in the beginning stagesIt's easy to scale down Ring 3 as a small picture that's not incredibly expensive." Does that mean a new, less-expensive cast? "Not necessarily, but it's by it's very nature a small, intimate movie."
