What's it about? 30 years before the original film, and it seems the curse is about to begin. A mysterious and rather clairvoyant teenager named Evelyn has given birth to a baby girl, Samara Morgan. After Evelyn is accused of the attempted murder of her daughter, Samara is immediately placed into the hands of her adoptive parents Anna Morgan and Richard Morgan, while Evelyn is institutionalized. A few years later however, it is clear that Evelyn was trying to stop an outbreak of the curse now known as "The Ring."
