February 3, 2005 — According to Variety, Sarah Jessica Parker has joined Matthew McConaughey in the comedy "Failure to Launch".

McConaughey will play a thirtysomething guy who lives with his parents and uses them as a way to avoid committing to a woman. He changes his mind when he meets the mate of his dreams (Parker). But the slacker has the nagging suspicion that his parents may have hired her in a desperate attempt to get him out of their house.
