December 12, 2005 — V for Vendetta was screened recently along with many other movies in a 24-hour long screening. There should be some news about the film soon but here is one comment.
The first mini-review that I've found comes from a very sleepy Matt Dentler, who wrote "I still think the film is a lot more abstract and expressionistic than fans are going to expect. It's a very political film, full of debate about government leaders, alienation, and terrorism. There are some massive action setpieces, but the film is really more about political bonds between the disenfranchised."
Make of that what you will - the movie is due in March and, according to Knowles, will have its world premiere at the Berlin Film Festival in February.
