The UK's a pretty big place. It's hard to suggest places to visit not knowing where you're actually going
Bonfire night's always a good night out though, if you go to a decent display of course. It usually consists of crouding into a packed and muddy field on what's generally a cold rainy night to watch the fireworks, topped off with the bonfire and the burning of the Guy. But they usually put up a mini Fun Fair where I live too, so there's often a bit more to do
