The first one is barely out of the gate, yet director Brian Robbins says Disney are already keen to get going on a sequel to the Tim Allen starring The Shaggy Dog.
Thankfully, he already has a sequel planned out, he says in an interview with Latino Review.
Its unlikely thatll be The Shaggy D.A, which was the original follow-up to the original Shaggy Dog and starred Dean Jones, because the plot of the new film more closely resembles it than it does Dog.
Meantime, Tim Allen has sworn off Santa films forever. Hes hanging up his red suit after the upcoming Santa Clause 3, reports Contact Music.
Comedian Jay Thomas (TVs Murphy Brown) appears in the film, playing the Easter Bunny, and tells the LA Daily News that it was quite punishing.
"It took three hours to get into that bunny suit," he recalls. "To see Tim as Santa, Marty Short as Jack Frost, Kevin Pollack as Cupid and me as the Easter Bunny sitting together having lunch must have really been something.
