Since Indy 4, as crappy as it was, made 790 Million Dollars worldwise, I think it's safe to say 5 is a possibilty. What are some ideas that would work? I think they should do a pyramid idea or a time travel idea with Einstein involved. But not that going in time to save Jesus idea because I think that is too Christian for audiances who are not. I know they did the holy grail but that is different than Jesus getting buddy buddy with Indy (shivers). What would work in your idea?

Well they used inter-dimensional beings (aliens) as a means of paying tribute to the science fiction movies of the 1950's, so I guess they could go down the Egyptian/mummy route, without the mummies. I wouldn't be fond of the idea though as it would be too similar to the Brendan Fraizer Mummy movies.

My top movies of 2009

1. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
2. Star Trek
3. District 9
4. Transformers 2
5. Terminator Salvation
6. Watchmen
7. Inglorious Basterds
8. Friday 13th
9. Monsters Vs Aliens
10. Angels and Demon's
11. Hannah Montana

I agree, and I guess that's why it wasn't an Egyptian theme for Indy 4. What about the plagues?

The Spear of Longinus. What do I win?

I like the idea of The Spear of Longinus. I'd also quite like to see Indy search for Atlantis, but don't see it happening, ever.

Yea, I think they should have done Atlantis for Indy 4. The alien thing just was so too much.

It needs to go back to Biblical routes and stop playing political correct stories in this climate of war on terror.

Since Spielberg has a Jewish past he would be the first to be a target if he does something that proves any Jewish or Christian beliefs. There was even a complaint from Muslims about the Da Vinci Code and the Iranian president did not like the 300 film because of the Persian past.

The future will be the new Crusade, you will be fighting again for your freedoms.

Staff of Moses?

Some of the Indy novels have good ideas for film. More bible. It works for Indy.

The ark of the covenant. The holy grail..... it works. Find me somebody who disliked Raiders and Last Crusade? You deserve to be smacked if you don't like them.

After seeing how well Harrison could handle the action in Indy 4, I think he could get away with it even if it's done in a few more years. He kicks ass.

Possible film settings for sequals, maybe they could do both stories at once, looking for both the Noah's Ark and Staff.

They think Noah's ark in on Mount Arrarat and guess what it is hard to get to and has many restrictions, I wonder why, so convieniant.
http://en.wikipedia.org/w
iki/Mount_Ararat

http://www.noahsarksearch
.com/ararat.htm

The Mount Ararat region along with the Araxes river valley constitutes a possible beginning location for the archaeology of the Early Transcaucasian culture with its distinctive red-black burnished ware. There are a number of Chalcolithic and Early Bronze Age archaeological sites around Mount Ararat in Turkey, Armenia, and Nakchivan. Archaeologists would like to research this area more but the border region is difficult to get permission to research as well as the border breaks up the research area into separate nations.

Mount Sinai http://en.wikipedia.org/w

http://en.wikipedia.org/w
iki/Biblical_Mount_Sinai

The Biblical Mount Sinai is an ambiguously located mountain at which the Hebrew Bible states that the Ten Commandments were given to Moses by God.[1] In certain biblical passages these events are described as having transpired at Horeb. Sinai and Horeb are generally considered to refer to the same place although there is a small body of opinion that they refer to different locations[2].

So what we need is an anti-religious group who want to try and coverup those remains in Mount Ararat, well that is going on already and at the same time when Indy is stopped he goes on a quest to find Moses Staff and he uses it on his way back to get through the Noah's Ark that many nationals want man kind not to find out.

One flaw, Indy is not a prophet so I doubt he could actually use any ancient powers, that would be a flaw in the scrip unless there is a sub story of good and evil forces at work of the super natural kind.

JESUS! Hasn't every lame Sci-fiction film had a tie into the pyramids? I swear if who ever even considers this is a viable course of action for this franchise to take. I will unload a clip into their skulls until they haven't a face. If any sequel Idea Spielberg and Lucas should be considering it should indeed pertain to TIME TRAVEL! So they can go back in time and make sure INDY 4 never happens.

What if he finds a pyramid under the ice in the Northpole and alien remains are found and he says God does not exist because Aliens do and his first adventure was not inspired by God but Aliens. The ark of the covenant was Alien and the the Crusades was about hiding a UFO.

See does not work, it contradicts it self.

I honestly doubt we'll ever see a post-RotJ trilogy though I'd love to. There's no way that they would be made with replacement actors though. IF, and that's a very very big if, post Jedi movies were to be made, and since ILM is THE FX house, I think we'd be looking at CG mats of the original crew placed over the actual actors they use. I guess we'll see how it works with Terminator.

I find your lack of faith disturbing.

They can just about make a Post starwars sequals but it would be pushing it a bit. Why not just make one to cover everything, I am sure 3hours worth of action would be just fine, okay 2hours 30minutes should cover it. They could use Cgi to cover the ageing the actors have.

What they should have done, was make a pirate themed movie, around the time 6 days and 7 nights was made. That would have made a great movie-like a goonies feel. But they would have to use more modern pirates I guess, Like late 40's...
