The Hollywood Reporter announces that actor Albert Finney will be joining Ridley Scott's adaptation of Peter Mayle's novel A Good Year, opposite Russell Crowe.
The film is about Max Skinner, played by Crowe, a London financier who leaves that world behind when he inherits a vineyard in France.
A five-time Oscar nominee, Finney will play Crowe's uncle and the owner of the property. The film which will be distributed by Fox will start shooting next month in Paris.
