CHUD got word from a scooper today that the first casting for Alexandre Aja's Hills Have Eyes remake has taken place.
The man? Ezra Buzzington, whom you might recognize from such films as Ghost World and Fight Club. The role? A character known only as "Goggles". I don't think, given the mans odd look, it'd be too far out of the realm of possibility to guess he'll be one of the mutant hillbillies that attacks a vacationing family.
Of all the remakes on the slate for the coming months, this (and King Kong, of course) is the only one I'm really looking forward to, since the subject matter and the director are such a great match.
And speaking of Aja, don't forget that his first film, High Tension, hits theaters on June 10th thanks to the smart horror freaks over at Lions Gate!
