Anticipation Level:
How excited (or not) I am to see this movie...
Spike Jonze does a really good job of capturing the idea of the death of childhood in his adaptation of Sendak's book. Enjoyed the 'organic' creatures representing Max's emotions, hopes, and fears. It's not a story for little children however, as the emotional scenes are pretty raw. It's not really terribly uplifintg, but it will make you think.
