April 17, 2006 — Oded Fehr will reprise his role in the third installment of the "Resident Evil""Resident Evil" franchise, starring alongside Milla JovovichMilla Jovovich.

Germany's Constantin Film and Impact PicturesImpact Pictures are producing.

"Resident Evil: Extinction," adapted from the vidgame, revolves around the continuing battle against the evil Umbrella by Alice and her allies.

Skedded to begin shooting in Mexico in May, pic is once again from a screenplay by Paul W.S. AndersonPaul W.S. Anderson, who runs Impact with producing partner Jeremy BoltJeremy Bolt.

Russell MulcahyRussell Mulcahy is directing; cast includes Mike EppsMike Epps, Iain Glen and Sienna Guillory.

The first two pics in the franchise grossed more than $127 million at the U.S. box office and led to the four-year producing pactpactpact between Impact and Constantin.
