A Review as Myth Opens in Asia

Jackie Chan is back in top form in The Myth, a story based on a rumoured "palace in the sky" that was the secret burial ground of Emperor Qin Shihuang. Chan plays two roles. He is a moral and responsible archaeologist but in his dreams, he is a mighty general in the Qin Dynasty who is caught between his love for the emperor's concubine Ok Soo (Kim Hee Seon) and his duty to his emperor and country....

....The new partnership between Chan and award-winning actor Tony Leung Ka Fai as his scientist-friend William is also refreshing and the two ham it up in a delightful episode where they raid a sacred temple in India. Chans characteristic brand of humour and fighting techniques comes to the hilt, supported brilliantly by Leung.
