The Kerala Tourism Board sent Jackie Chan a VCD of the area and it's sights, hoping to lure Chan into making an advertisement for them. Jackie turned down the offer, but seeing martial arts exponent, G Sathyanarayanan on the promotional VCD impressed Jackie Chan so much that he contacted him right away and asked him to perform in Myth. "I am getting a number of offers from Hollywood. All because of Jackie Chan only," he told rediff.com.
