April 29, 2002 — Why did New Line allow another Friday the 13th film to be made? Well, why not? Director Jim Issac says:

"Jason was on the shelf. He wasn't doing anything."

Kane Hodder, who has played Jason in the last four films, had this to say:

"It's been so long that people are champing at the bit for another movie to come out."
