Jason X kicked ass. I mean, sure were 9 previous movies, but Jason will always be awsome to the true die hard Jason fans. What's not awsome about it. Roger and Ebert used to always trash movies like this. They only like this dumb ass boring drama movies, and Shakephere type crapola movies. Please tell me anyone what was so horrible about Jason X. Roger and Roeper need to watch Jason 1 through 9 and develope an appreciation for the movies. You have to watch all of the Jason movies to appreciate Jason X. Of course it's not a drama, and it's not an old folks movie, but since when was Jason ever boring. Now the only Jason movie to me that sucked eggs was Jason 8, but the rest of the Jasons, including Jason X was awsome of incredible awsome. What? INTELLIGENT person like this? Sure. You have to be a complete *** licking moron to go into this film and expect anything more than: 1. Bad acting 2. Bad jokes 3. Silly violence I think X is the best of the franchise. Where it succeeds and many of the others have failed IMO is that the director FINALLY said, "Screw it, this is retarded and I'm going to have fun." For the first time, there was 0 effort put into making the film scary. Good choice - because these are not scary films. There was corny dialogue non-stop. There were a couple creative, fun kills. The special effects were surprisingly good considering the low budget. I was also shocked that some of the better moments were not in the trailer. I just don't know what else anyone could expect from this film. I honestly plan to see it again.
